Operation Gratitude

As we continue to build a better world this summer, it is important that we take a moment to remember the people who are constantly working towards making the world a better place; especially those who are working to protect us. Whether it be active duty police officers and firefighters, the men and women training to join the armed forces, or our veterans, we have much to thank them for!

This summer, you can stop by the Library and write a letter to be sent to Operation Gratitude, an organization that puts together over 200,000 care packages each year to be sent to Deployed Troops, Veterans, New Recruits, and First Responders. They like having at least 5 letters for each package, so the more donations, the better! All the materials and instructions are available for you here at the library; all you have to do is donate a few moments of your time to filling up a paper full of happy thoughts and well wishes.

This passive program is open to people of all age groups! Help us by building a better world through the gift of words this summer!
