Join us at the Leon Valley Public Library for a special evening Poetry Workshop led by poet and author Brigid Cooley-Beck (she/her). Whether you're new to poetry or a lifelong writer, this interactive session will offer inspiration, writing prompts, and supportive guidance from a passionate teaching artist.

About the poet:Brigid Cooley-Beck wrote her first poem at age 7 and hasn’t stopped since. A proud San Antonio native, Brigid is the author of the 2023 poetry collection family recipes (Kelsay Books) and has had her work published internationally. She currently lives in Saratoga Springs, NY, with her Navy officer husband, Zach, and enjoys bouldering, reading, and teaching poetry workshops in her free time.
